Background

A large multinational OEM was looking for a gear source to supply their gearing needs for the future for their high volume production assemblies. Due to the high volume of usage, the source needed to invest in dedicated equipment and tooling in order to meet the demand.

UGA Solution

UGA setup a fully automated manufacturing cell with robotics to handle the volume requirements. By utilizing this dedicated cellular approach, UGA was able to fine tune the process removing potential scheduling and machining issues associated with juggling parts across various machines.

For the past several years, the customer has been able to rely on UGA's dedicated manufacturing cells to meet their demands.
