For medium to long runs, cellular manufacturing techniques are devoted to (families) of parts that adapt themselves to several operations and machines taking advantage of run time, queue considerations and ergonomics.

Automated Gear Cell Manufacturing
This highly sophisticated method of production is representative of UGA's ability to develop a World Class manufacturing system that provides the latest technological advances in the industry. The cell system utilizes advanced material transfer and robotics not typically seen in standard manufacturing plants.

Captive Heat Treat Operations
The Heat Treat Division compliments the entire facility. Technically and professionally trained personnel monitor compliance to rigorous standards of quality. Steel shot blast and glass bead cleaning, magnetic particle inspection, and complete metallurgical laboratory testing and services are all ISO qualified processes that are in-house.

UGA is ISO/TS16949 certified with a quality complete QA department and QA lab on-site. UGA provides customers with additional confidence in a state-of-the-art facility that can meet a customer's specific requirements.
